The Greeks after 20 years of Socialist give away programs are now mad as hell. There is no more “free” stuff. With thousands upon thousands of businesses closing under the burden of the governments entitlement programs and unemployment heading north of 21% they do what Socialists do. They get out there and riot over loss of all the free stuff. Loss of their basic human rights like 35 hour work weeks and 6 week vacations and never fire jobs irregardless of the quality of the work provided. There is no more money, the cupboard is bare and someone is now to blame.
Guess what? We are headed in the same direction here in the USA. The Democrat Party refuses to even acknowledge there is any spending problems. They don’t even believe in budgets, they just make it up as they go along. The Republicans are no better. Just as a simple example. The Ex-Im Bank came up for re-authorization and one would think such freebie handouts to big businesses for overseas sales might need a little trimming so the companies involved could fund their own overseas sales, especially at the low interest rates today but no. Instead we see them pass a bill to increase the banks lending authority 40%. That’s right, in search of “spending cuts” they instead simply increase stuff right and left. Probably they call it a jobs program.
Whether it is the Feds or the State RCAP guys, they just spend and spend and spend. Below is our future when the bills come due. The only difference, there are millions of armed Americans standing between this result, unarmed Greeks and their advancing Fascist party will have to take what comes down the pike. A party of similar bent here may be attempted because the Progressives are trying really hard to take away the guns to make sure you are compliant.

Thanks Joe,
The new campaign theme for the Obamabots to fall in behind on. Nothing ever but vague unfulfilled promises of nirvana.
Tom Corbett claims that something needs to be done about the states pension funds. Hey isn’t that a revelation? You have to get up pretty early in the morning to slip one by old Tom. He is the Governor with a Republican House and a Republican Senate and full control of government. Just what is Tom waiting for?
They just added $2B to the unfunded liabilities. Reduced the tax payer funded guaranteed return of these funds from 8% to 7.5% . I want that program. I am only getting like .25% if that in my money market fund. What idiots are making a case that a reasonable rate of return for these plans is 7.5%. I want to see where they get these numbers. 2% guarenteed today would even be a stretch. Just more of the same from Harrisburg.

You know, this is really quite interesting philosophically speaking. President John F. Kennedy (Democrat) allowed the public sector unions to organize under union banners by an executive decision. The City of Philadelphia has been ruled by Democrats for as long as I can remember. The unions always voted for the Dems, the Dems always bargained with the unions. The Dems learned how to divert the Pension funds for whatever cause de jour. The Dems would then pass laws to get “the people” to fill in the void with ever higher taxes.
Now with the Philadelphia tax base stagnant or declining there is no money to be found and taxing “the people” in the city even more is becoming extremely counter productive. The people at many levels paying the city tax and with the new proposed increases, the people are starting to really sit up and take notice at what the politicians and the unions have created and who they expect to pay for it.
Here is a very good article detailing the magnitude of the existing problem and the list of Democrat politicians who have built this house of cards that is now falling down.

Big fat government is our main problem. It is time for real action not just nibbling around the edges. The waste, fraud and abuse of the government is mind numbing and never-ending. They want all your freedom and liberty and are using your own money to do it. Government needs to be cut up with a chain saw, no more time for pruners, that doesn’t work out.
I believe this is the second state lining up to do this. I have also heard Republican party officials who refuse to discuss this, as being a conspiracy theory from these crazy right-wing Tea Party people. Well here is another state having determined what is under the hood of Agenda 21 and deciding to toss this the heck out of their state. Good for them and on the eve of the guiding documents to come out of the new Rio +20 meeting scheduled in the near future. None too soon. This stuff needs to be stopped in every state in the land. The crazy Greenies in California are already in implementation phase.

The real reason for income inequality. This article from the folks at Zero Hedge and it is graphically presented for the main part although plenty of reasoning goes into this piece.
