This is an absolutely great site and will be listed on our site page as soon as I get the time to post it. The key to this politicking thing is where the money comes from and where the promises and loyalties lie. There is no doubt that the current structure is corrupting as all get out and it is equally true that it sure isn’t going to change this election cycle.
Money drives the campaign and money can also drive the message on issues and positions from the candidates. With the Citizens United decision the “businesses” in America get to contribute to various PACs which favor various political directions. Personally I felt that this decision simply leveled the playing field with the unions. Fair is fair if money from the businesses is corrupting then so are the contributions from the unions.
As far as I am concerned they both can be outlawed and the politicians can simply depend on the citizens to fund thier political campaigns. The true taxpayer. This would in my opinion bring all the politicking back home and local where it belongs in the first place.
Again a great site to figuring out where all the money comes from and goes and the political subterfuge that professional money brings to the table and this is invaluable. This might make for great political questions in town halls across the country.
